Refunds & Returns Policy

Thank you for shopping with Beyond Words Gifts. We take pride in creating thoughtful, handcrafted custom gift baskets and packages. Because many of our products are personalized or include perishable items, our refund and return guidelines are designed to be clear, fair, and customer-friendly.

By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms of this Refunds & Returns Policy.


1. All Sales Are Generally Final

Due to the customized and often perishable nature of our gift baskets, all sales are considered final. Once an order has been created, assembled, or shipped, it cannot be returned for a refund.

However, your satisfaction matters to us. If you experience an issue, please contact us—we’re here to help!


2. Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Items

If your order arrives damaged, contains incorrect items, or is missing components, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

To process your claim quickly, please provide:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photos of the damage or incorrect items

After reviewing your request, we may offer one of the following:

  • A replacement of the damaged or incorrect item

  • A replacement basket of equal value

  • A partial refund, depending on the situation

We strive to make it right in all reasonable cases.


3. Cancellations

We can accept cancellations only if production has not begun.

Because our gift baskets are made to order:

  • Once customization or assembly has started, orders cannot be canceled.

  • If you need to request a cancellation, contact us as soon as possible at hazel@beyondwordsgifts.com or 252-622-5703.


4. Non-Returnable Items

For health, safety, and customization reasons, the following items cannot be returned:

  • Custom or personalized gift baskets

  • Food items or perishable goods

  • Gift baskets containing specialty, handmade, or seasonal items

  • Digital gift messages or add-on services


5. Incorrect Shipping Information

We are not responsible for packages that are:

  • Delayed,

  • Lost, or

  • Returned

due to incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer. If a package is returned to us, additional shipping fees may apply to resend it.


6. Customer Satisfaction Guarantee

While we cannot accept returns of custom products, we are committed to creating a delightful gifting experience.

If something wasn’t right, please contact us—we will always do our best to work with you and find a fair solution.


7. Refund Processing (When Applicable)

In eligible cases where a refund is approved:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • Processing may take 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider

We will notify you by email when your refund has been processed.
